Following pre-application discussions with South Somerset District, and consultation with the local community, an outline planning application on land at Castle Cary, Somerset has been submitted to Somerset Council proposing the erection of up to 46 dwellings with associated works including the formation of a vehicular access, provision of open space and landscaping.
Proposals for the site, which is located at the southern edge of the village, seek to respond positively to the surrounding context of the local area and provide a range of new high-quality homes, including 17 affordable homes, in a location where there is an identified need for sustainable housing growth.
