Following pre-application discussions with Somerset Council and public consultation, LVA can confirm an outline planning application has been submitted and validated for up to 78 dwellings alongside a commercial unit of up to 155sqm on land off Main Street, Walton.
The proposed development is intended to be complementary to the locality and will provide new open market and affordable homes in an area within which there is existing housing land supply shortfall, accompanied by areas of green open space and parkland. A decision on the application is anticipated during the summer.
