On 28 March 2025, the Planning Inspectorate granted outline planning permission for up to 21 dwellings on land at Urchfont, Wiltshire.
In allowing the appeal, the Inspector considered that the proposal would make a meaningful contribution to the supply of housing in the area. The proposal would include the provision of affordable units, thereby helping to meet the undisputed need for such housing, alongside the inclusion of self-build units which would also help meet the need for these.
LVA will now look to work with a suitable developer to deliver the site in line with the outline consent.
