An outline planning application for up to 120 dwellings was approved at Somerset Council's Planning Committee South in June 2025. The proposed scheme will contribute up to 42 affordable homes (35%) which can be prioritised for local people, and also deliver wider community benefits through the provision of new open space, recreation, play and growing facilities as well as parking for the village hall.
