Who we are | LVA

LVA is an investor and planning project manager in UK land and property. We focus on forming responsible alliances in which we seek to mutually align the interests of landowners, stakeholders and all other parties' to create developments which add value to local communities.

We are a market-leading business in the strategic land investment and planning promotion sector. Our portfolio consists of over 80 sites totalling in excess of 2,000 acres throughout the UK ranging from 1 acre to over 300 acres. Within the portfolio, we have land at different stages of the planning promotion process, from sites being prepared for application through to those which are being sold for residential or commercial development with the benefit of planning permissions achieved.

During the planning process we seek to undertake constructive consultation with a broad range of stakeholders. We are very proud that we consult, undertake extensive technical studies, and seek to be involved in exemplar schemes. These schemes contribute positively and sensitively to an area’s community wellbeing, safety, biodiversity, heritage and carbon saving aspirations.

We aim to respond to national and local planning policy on the natural environment, sustainability, energy and climate change, whilst balancing the need to overcome any physical constraints of a site. We have high level, aspirational objectives to deliver highly sustainable, and ultra-low carbon development where possible.

We believe that our approach of creating working ‘alliances’ leads to good planning and better development. Our team has decades of experience within the residential and commercial sectors. We engage proven local professionals from the best-in-class legal, planning and technical consultants to work with us on individual projects.

Throughout all projects LVA seek to help establish healthier environments by ensuring biodiversity is enhanced, and that new habitats and green spaces are created. This goes a long way towards providing an attractive and vibrant setting within an environmentally sound development.

LVA recognise the importance of Biodiversity Net Gain, as well as the effects of climate change and energy efficiency. We seek to deliver sustainable development, and help give back to nature.

The team at LVA also love to 'get stuck in' with local communities to cultivate lasting change in neighbourhoods. As part of this commitment, LVA's partners are members of The Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group South West, a registered charity representing the region’s farmers and landowners in the delivery of wildlife conservation.

LVA and its team have recently been physically and actively involved in woodland and wetland creation close to the source of the River Yeo in Somerset. The team alongside their families took part in the planting of indigenous English species around new bio-diverse habitats.

Our pledge is to provide gains in biodiversity, seek sustainable development and give back to nature.
