Here at LVA we are proud that we are helping to deal with the national housing shortage and what is accepted asbeing the housing crisis. Therefore, we also believe in the wider range of social, economic and environmental benefits that can be provided by good planning. Our aim is to meet with the community and their representatives throughout the planning process, to establish what potential benefits development could bring. We look to engage with various stakeholders including; Town & Parish Councils, Local Residents and Neighbourhood Plan Steering Groups to understand the wants and needs of their community.
Through the planning application process we seek to agree the design principles that set out the core values of a proposed development. These planning conditions, that are agreed with the Local Planning Authority, control the parameters of development such as the layout, amount of open space, ecological and drainage mitigation measures, as well as low carbon credentials of the scheme. This approach helps to give local communities and the Council more certainty and control that ensures the scheme is delivered in the right way.
We believe in trying to agree the community benefits which flow from suitable sustainable development. We believe that funding which flows from any S106 or CIL contribution should as far as possible be directed towards the local needs of the people within or connected to the settlement.
Within our current portfolio, we are looking to achieve in excess of;
in Section 106 & CIL Contributions
Acres of Public Open Space
Affordable Homes
We continue to expand and are looking for more greenfield and brownfield opportunities across the UK. Our business model of creating shared and mutual alliances within our sector is proven, successful and means all parties interests are aligned.
