Subsequent to North Devon District Council granting outline planning permission for 150 units off of Birch Road, Landkey, a sale of the site to a developer has been agreed. As part of LVA’s planning permission, a wide range of community benefits will be delivered including forty-five affordable homes, five hectares of public open space, allotments, play space, new footpath and cycle connections extending off the Tarka Trail.

Having obtained outline planning consent for up to 26 dwelling at appeal in December 2021 on land at Sandleaze Farm, Worton, LVA is pleased to report that a sale of the site has exchanged with completion due shortly to a high-quality South West based developer.

Somerset West and Taunton Council has recently announced a new system whereby developers can purchase phosphate credits which will be used by the Council to help offset the levels of phosphate in the Somerset Moors. Public engagement is currently taking place on proposals for up to 65 dwellings on land north of the High Street, Dilton Marsh, Wiltshire. The consultation exercise lasts until 18 June 2022 and invites the local community to comment on the emerging plans for the site.
